Entertainment marketing firm seeks self motivated, goal oriented, resourceful person to assist in the marketing/promotions of the firm’s international recording artist and other special projects.

Intern should have a strong desire to utilize their current skill set and expand their knowledge base in all of the intricate facets of the entertainment business to include:

• Internet marketing and promotion
• Press releases
• Newsletters
• Articles
• Blogs
• Street promotions
• Public Relations
• Sponsor proposal development
• Event planning and coordination
• Networking
• Team building
• Non-profit and community relations
• Fundraising
• Trade shows

Intern must understand the need to interact within a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, socio/economically diverse environment and have the ability to lead and motivate potential partners, retailers, sponsors, students, distributors and media outlets to see our vision and embrace mission.

Communication skills, both written and oral are mandatory.   The intern must have a working knowledge of the latest computer programs and an extraordinary capacity to navigate the Internet as online marketing and retailing represents over fifty percent of daily activities.  Website design is a plus.

Since there will be public appearances, the intern must have a smart, cosmopolitan professional look.   Follow-up is the key to success of many of our endeavors.   The intern must bring a great attitude toward telemarketing and have the ability to establish and maintain relationships through the use of the telephone, email and traditional postal services.

This is an unpaid internship; however this can lead to a full time position based on performance.
