With a vocal range that dances between four octaves, E. began to establish his pop/R&B career by performing at various venues around the metro Atlanta area. As guest vocalist for the first "Weddings for Us" Bridal Expo, E. was introduced to Georgia's entertainment community. Soon after that, he was performing at social events like the Jewish National Fund's Kick-Off Gala for the Bill Cosby, Liza Minnelli, Marvin Hamlisch concert, The Africa House during the 1996 Olympics, and Alpha Kappa Alpha's Cabaret, to name a few. The success of these performances found him cast as co-host for the television pilot "Speak Up, Speak Out," and making the opening keynote address for the 35,000 attendees of the 1998 National AMWAY Convention.

Like most artists, E. has a story to tell. "In 5th and 6th grade my language arts teacher, Miss Jean Hudson, promised me that all the creative writing that she made me do would pay off. In fact, she even said that I would come back to actually thank her for being "Mean Jean!"
