Jett Entertainment kicks off
"The Tenderness Tour"
Artists Against Domestic Violence and Abuse
Tony Jett, CEO of Jett Entertainment, will kick off
Domestic Violence and Abuse Awareness Month with an eclectic array of stars coming together to raise the public’s awareness of domestic violence and abuse in all of our communities.Scheduled to begin in October, "The Tenderness Tour" will feature an eclectic array of stars coming together to raise public awareness of domestic violence and abuse in all of our communities and will introduce Pop ‘n’ Soul recording artist, E. Walter Smith, singing his hit song, "Tenderness."
"I have been promoting concerts for over 12 years and unfortunately I see, first hand, how domestic violence and abuse touches everybody. The stars you see on stage are often times victims of the same kind of abuse everyday people experience. The Tenderness Tour is an opportunity for us to bring a lot of publicity about support organizations to help many people dealing with very serious private matters," says Jett.
Free tickets and VIP passes will be given to those families living in shelters to attend the star studded "meet and greet" before the show. Celebrities, athletes, politicians, actors and musicians will sign autographs, and give away hats, T-shirts and CDs. Many organizations that have programs that assist victims of domestic violence and abuse will be on hand to pass out their information and educate the community on how we can bring a stop to this national epidemic.
"The response to The Tenderness Tour has been phenomenal," Jett says. "We’ve partnered with Nate Ragland, CEO of Urban Marketing Concepts in Houston and have really been able to garner the support of athletes, entertainers, political figures and corporations all over the country. It feels good to be a part of something that makes a difference on and off the stage or playing field."
